General

• Many rare creatures that disappeared with Cataclysm are returning in this patch.

Guilds

• Guild bank vouchers (unlocked as guild rewards) can only be used by Guild Leaders (clarification).
• A "guild group" (as defined for guild achievements) now requires a minimum of 3 guild members for 5-player dungeons. Bonus guild xp earned from dungeons is determined by how many guild members are in the group.
  

Races

• The draenei racial trait Gift of the Naaru now heals based on the target's health rather than level.
• The dwarven racial trait Stoneform now reduces all damage taken instead of increasing armor, and also increases the dwarf's size when used.
• Many other racial abilities have had their cooldowns shortened.

Dungeons & Raids

• Level 85 players can now choose any normal dungeon via the Dungeon Finder. Choosing Random Dungeon will still not add Blackrock Caverns or Throne of the Tides into the rotation.

PvP

• Bloodlust, Heroism, Time Warp and Ancient Hysteria can no longer be cast while in Arenas.
• Players will now be teleported out of the Tol Barad micro dungeons 15 minutes before the beginning of the next battle.
• The set bonuses for Hunters, Priests, Warlocks, and Warriors on all PvP gear have been changed. See the Items section in the full notes for details.
• PvP trinkets now also remove disarm and silence effects.

Classes

Death Knights

• All death knights now get the spell hit bonus that used to be oly available as a talent in the Unholy tree.
• Icebound Fortitude now breaks stuns when used, in addition to providing immunity to them.
• The Mastery for Unholy has been redesigned to increase all damage.

Druids

• Worgen and Troll druids now have new art for Swift Flight Form.
• The levels at which druid healing spells are learned has been shuffled around. Additionally, many healing spells have had their mana costs reduced (thank goodness!).
• Moonkin form now gives damage reduction instead of bonus armor!
• Mastery bonuses for Balance and Restoration increased.
• Prowl is no longer broken by enemies using Demoralizing Shout or Demoralizing Roar.
• Shapeshifting no longer cancels root effects, but still cancels movement slowing effects (unless you're a Resto druid, in which case it cancels roots).

Hunters

• Cobra shot and Steady Shot cast times are now affected by haste.
• Hunters will now continute to use automatic ranged attacks while running.
• Deterrance now makes all attacks miss instead of parrying them. This prevents other classes from gaining bonuses when their attacks are parried (dirty rogues and warriors).
• Master's Call now usable twice as often.
• Damage for Survival has been reduced to make it more on par with other Hunter specs.
• Hunter croud control spells now cancel Auto Shot to make it easier to not waste the trap.

Mages

• Ring of Frost redesigned. See full patch notes for new effect.
• When a mage uses the Invisibility spell, it will now also cause their pet Water Elemental to become invisible.

Paladins

• The Forbearance mechanic has been redesigned slightly, and its purpose clarified.
• Holy Wrath no longer counts critters when dividing damage among its targets.
• All single target attacks can now trigger Seal of Truth.
• Rebuke (Retribution talent) can now be trained by all paladins at level 54. Existing characters will need to visit their trainer, even if they had talented Rebuke before.

Priests

• Mind Sear can now be channeled on friendly targets in addition to enemy targets.
• Prayer of Healing effectiveness has been reduced.
• Chakra for Holy Priests has been buffed significantly.
• Levitate now lasts for 10 minutes (woo hoo!).

Rogues

• Stealth is no longer broken by enemies using Demoralizing Shout or Demoralizing Roar.

Shaman

• Chain Heal's effectiveness has been increased.
• Purge now dispels one effect instead of two.
• Tremor Totem has been redesigned to be a short-term fear/charm/sleep removal spell.
• Mana Tide Totem for Restoration has been redesigned to provide a flat amount of spirit.

Warlocks

• Fel Armor now increases the warlock's maximum mana instead of regenerating health provides healing instead of increasing mana.
• Mastery bonuses for Demonology and Destruction increased.
• Drain Mana has been removed from the game.

Warriors

• Inner Rage has been redesigned to better allow warriors to use Heroic Strike and Cleave to burn off extra rage.
• Slam cast time is now affected by haste.

Professions

• A socket has been added to all crafted epic armor pieces that did not already have one.
• Alchemy
  • Alchemist's Stones for Agility, Strength, and Intellect have been added.
  • The number of herbs required to create flasks has been reduced, while the Volatile Life needed has been increased slightly.
• Archaeology
  • Archaeology finds now grant a guaranteed skill point up to 50 skill, and then no longer grant skill gains, as opposed to granting up to 100 skill very slowly.
  • The cooldown on Survey is now 3 seconds (yay, no more annoying wait!).
• Jewelcrafting
  • 3 new Meta gem recipees have been added, which can drop from any Cataclysm creature and are tradeable. See the full patch notes for details.

User Interface

• Character Info Window
  • The Haste display on the Character Info window (C) now shows the total haste percentage, rather than only haste from haste rating.
• Real ID & Chat
  • Real ID login notifications now include character and game icons.
  • There is now an option to auto-pop whispers into a new tab (instant-messaging style).
